As I explore what cool things to download on my lovely cheapass Android smartphone, I thought I'd share some apps I've come to love and can't live without (none of that Angry Birds crap). Clicking on the names leads directly to the Android market downloads page.)
1. Meebo IM
I love how simple it is to use. I've tried a lot of multi-platform IM apps and I'm most satisfied with Meebo. Good connection, archived convos, and best interface by far.

If you're a frustrated musician like I am, you should get this app. For a free app, you can program the chords of your favourite songs, save them, and strum them like you would a guitar. Mine is set to "Billionaire" (that's right yo) If you pay for the Pro upgrade you get to save and archive your programmed guitar chords.
Okaaaay, this is where it gets girly. I used to log my periods in a normal calendar and it was such a hassle to do! This app predicts your next period, ovulation period, fertile period for ANY month!! I chose this app out of 3 other menstrual cycle/ovulation calendars mainly because of the well-designed interface - not too complicated and not too dumb.
Guess what? The Facebook app for android doesn't allow you to upload photos or videos (weird huh?) After some research, I found this little app that uploads my videos and/or photos to my Facebook! What more can I say? Perfect.
This is the official app for Tumblr, and it works like a dream. It's pretty cool. It doesn't frustrate me as I would have imagined, dealing with an image-heavy dashboard. It's so simple and smooth.
So there you have it! My Top 5 Android apps for now. Hopefully, I can expand this list as I learn more about my phone and discover new apps! Let me know if you have any cool apps to share.

I have an Sony Ericson Xperia X10 mini pro. But my facebook app for android can upload photos. I wonder why yours cant. :/

i'm going to look into these apps! the womanlog calendar sounds quite useful. i don't use apps often, only the basic call and text.
i am using the samsung st500, which my bf got me. it has a screen on the front of the camera, meaning it's great for one thing in particular, cam whoring! i guess he thought i'd enjoy taking tons and tons of pictures of myself, lol

I've got the same and it's the best gadget in the market 'cos it has to many apps and it's easy to use it.
The guitar solo lite is one of my favorite applications, it is very well done and so easy to use.
